The Pakistani people, who are never short of worries, woes and wretchedness, observe in ultimate awe how the ugly role of our intelligence agencies is being unfolded.
Musharraf was clearly in hot waters when, out of blue, Brig. Imtiaz (aka Billa) appeared and swept away the focus of masses, mediocre and media from Musharraf to Nawaz Sharif.
This move clearly seems to have a linkage with the present regime as the apparent prey was Nawaz Sharif (the opposition) and the apparent beneficiary was MQM (regime’s ally) as well as Musharraf (The N.R.O formulator).
However the attack backfired a bit (at least to the extent of role of intelligence agencies in the civilian matters and Pak Politics) and instead of maligning Nawaz Sharif, people started criticizing the intelligence agencies for their nasty roles.
Watch this video where Brig. (R) Imtiaz is sounding like a character from Imran Digest and Mr. Khar is taking on Mr. Billa with frown and glower.
For me, believing Mr. Khar makes more sense than believing Mr. Billa, who has property worth billions (apparently looted from this poor nation).
Even otherwise Khar is difficult to ignore. He, with all his coaxing abilities, successfully charmed 8 women and I’m merely a humble, feeble person. I’m convinced altogether… :P
