The show was 70 % Scripted and 30 % was on-spot improvisation. During the 70% scripted part, everything went smoothly. But when the 30% improvisational part began, the girl got exasperated for some reason. Bhatiya kept on believing that she is just acting to be angry (considering the program was on Dadagiri), so he kept on acting normally. But at one point in time when the rubbish girl, named Esha, was short of words to reply to Bhatiya, in utter dismay, she slapped him on his face. Stunned, shocked and humiliated, the guy hit back with tremendous power. He returned the slap with his full hand on the girl’s face.
It invited more trouble for the poor guy and the crew members (particularly one unjust fellow) jumped on Bhatiya and beat him black and blue….Rest is history.
Ravi Bhatiya, later, sent a legal notice to the makers of “Dadagiri” seeking public apology for defamation. It’s unclear what was the fate of the legal notice.
The guy is currently working in Ekta Kapoor’s TV Serial “Kahani Hamari Muhabbat Ki” on channel 9x.
I’d like to know the comments of visitors on this issue. In my personal opinion, the girl was more to be blamed for it all. It’s funny that when the girls want to extract some benefit on the basis of equality, they have equal rights, but when it’s the payback time, they refuse to share the equal liabilities. If a girl can slap a guy, she must accept to be slapped back. IT’S THE REAL EQUALITY…
